The Billings Ranch focuses on grass fed and finished and grain finished cattle, without the use of harmful hormones or antibiotics. We spend time with our herd to ensure that they are raised in a clean and safe environment.
Managing grass as our main forage is significant to reducing ranch inputs and allowing our cattle to do what they do best… convert green grass into protein. Whether it is keeping the ranch fences mended or the grass maintained, or checking cattle on horseback or atv, there is never an off day when treating for and handling our herd with the love and care they need and deserve.

As a part owner of a local mid-size beef processing and packing facility where we focus on employee safety and quality beef production, our ranch is able to raise quality beef cattle that will be processed in our own facility. Reducing logistics and allowing our cattle to remain stress-free provides added benefit to the consumer when they chose local.
